A day to remember

A day to remember  Zebra’s director and account executive, Clara and Sian, attended Mission Motorsport’s Race of Remembrance earlier this month, in support of Solvings Ltd’s (Solvings) presence at the event. The occasion was organised by Mission Motorsport to aid the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations. It also commemorated the 100th Anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War.

Zebra has been providing a PR service to Solvings for quite some time now. Solvings is a leading IT infrastructure services, support and project consultancy that operates across a broad range of industries.  Its training division actively supports ex-service personnel with their resettlement and associated training needs, which led to a partnership with Recovery Career Service (RCS) – a charitable organisation that does just that. RCS is heavily involved with Mission Motorsport and so it seemed a perfect fit for Solvings to be at the Race of Remembrance. We are always happy to support our clients at occasions that help with business and community relations, and this was one event we didn’t want to miss out on!

Despite heavy rain and blustery winds on the Saturday, the event went ahead as planned. It was a fast-paced weekend that featured many race categories and visitor activities for all participating veterans and their supporters. Running alongside the event on Saturday was the Forces Employment Wales initiative, which offers veterans the opportunity to network and discuss employment opportunities in North Wales and the North West with employers, training organisations and other service charities.  Solvings also had a stand in the exhibition area of the concourse and staff were on-hand to meet and greet passers-by.
